Belonging

Being part of the same body, welcoming people in and loving each other.

We are an evangelical, charismatic and prayerful worshipping community;

 a medium sized church, where the congregation is both local and gathered from across the city, with a commitment to Community Groups as places of community, discipleship and pastoral care.

 Our vision of being Rooted, Belonging, Encouraging and Connecting, is based on John 13:34-35

'A new command I give you: love one another.

As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples,

if you love one another.’

We love, care for and value families at St Alkmund's. We want everyone to feel welcome and included.

Our Sunday morning Lighthouse groups are welcoming, friendly and accessible places where children and young people come to have fun, make friends & meet with God.

Accessibility

It is our desire for everyone to feel welcome & included.

If your child has additional needs please speak to a member of our Lighthouse or Youth teams, who will be really happy to help.

Belonging as family

We seek to welcome and show hospitality to all;

to be cross-generational and inclusive of all needs.

Through shared experience and a commitment to  community, discipleship

and pastoral care, we want to be available and willing to help meet

the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of our congregation, parish and city.
