Volunteer Vacancies

Lighthouse Sunday Morning Groups

New volunteers are needed in all our Lighthouse groups, both leaders (a little prep & admin required, we use a set curriculum to  make life simpler) and helpers (no prep needed, just turn up).

Twinklers (babies and toddlers aged 0-3yrs)
Sparklers (children aged 3-5yrs)
Luminate (children in school yrs 1 -2)
Shine (children in school yrs 3-6)

Little Nippers Wednesday morning toddler group

We ideally need volunteers to help on Wednesday mornings during term time, weekly or fortnightly, to assist with any of the following: 

9-10 Set up hall with toys etc.. and 12noon set down & clean up.
9-10 Set up in the kitchen, (12noon set down & clean up kitchen) 
10-11.45 serve drinks and snacks from the kitchen
9.55-11.45 Welcome/doorkeep and take the register
9.55-12.00 come alongside to support and listen to mums/carers/ grandparents and their babies and toddlers. 

Also needed:
Craft prep, singing/story time, general admin. 
And a once-a-term toy sort & clean (time to suit those available). 

Open the Book School Assembly Team

We need volunteers on Tuesday mornings in term time fortnightly or monthly, to be available from 9am – 11am. 
Ideally 3 or 4 people who enjoy acting or storytelling. 
(We can arrange for you to shadow a group for a session, if this would be helpful in deciding if it's for you.)

Also if you like making props or sewing, please do let us know, as we're always looking for help with new props or mending old ones!
