Accessibility
It is our desire for everyone to feel welcome and included.
We have a range of provisions for physical needs and neurodiversity but we're always happy to help in other ways if we can; and looking to improve where we're able.
What we provide
-
We have a sensory room for children, and a quiet room for adults. These are available before, during and after our morning services, and on request at other times during the week, subject to availability.
-
Ramp access to the building and easy wheelchair access to the ground floor rooms, including the worship area.
-
Disabled toilet.
-
Unfortunately, access to upstairs is only via a staircase. However, we mostly use ground floor rooms on Sundays and for regular weekly activities, including most room hire.
If you have any concerns at all about how you will be able to access the building, please email the office.

What we can do

For children/young people:
If your child has additional needs please speak to a member of our Lighthouse (children's groups) team, who will be really happy to help. Alternatively email Sharon, our Children & Families Worker.
Likewise if your young person needs a little help, speak to our Kairos Youth Team, or email Mo, our Youth & Young Adults worker.
For adults:
If you are an adult needing a little extra care - perhaps due to physical constraints, neurodiversity, etc. - please speak with a member of the Welcome Team as you arrive or the Leadership Team would be equally happy to help.
Alternatively email Alice in the church office.
Accessibility Group
We are working hard to make our church services, activities and our building more accessible to all.
If you are interested in joining our Accessibility Group who are looking into how we do this, we would love to see you! Please contact Rev Mina.
We are also making progress on displaying a series of symbols showing how accessible we are to people with specific access requirements. This will make it simpler to identify the ease of use of our building for Sunday services and midweek activities. A directory of these symbols and how they might be used is available at Accessible Church.
